2. Service Description
ImgSqueeze is an online image optimization tool. You upload images, we compress, resize, and/or convert them to your selected format, and you download the processed files as a ZIP archive.
- Free tier: Up to 5 images per day, no payment required.
- Starter tier: Up to 25 images — $2.99 one-time payment.
- Standard tier: Up to 100 images — $5.99 one-time payment.
- Bulk tier: Up to 500 images — $11.99 one-time payment.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By using ImgSqueeze — whether through the free or paid tiers — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
4. Payments & Pricing
- All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD).
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your card details.
- Prices are one-time payments per batch of images. There are no subscriptions or recurring charges.
- We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. The price shown at the time of checkout applies to your transaction.
5. Right of Withdrawal & Refunds
5.1 Digital Content — Right of Withdrawal Waiver
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights Directive) and Romanian OUG 34/2014, consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, this right does not apply to digital content delivered immediately when:
- The consumer gives prior express consent to begin delivery immediately, and
- The consumer acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is lost once delivery begins.
By clicking the "Optimize" / payment button on ImgSqueeze, you:
- Explicitly consent to the immediate delivery of the digital service (image processing begins immediately upon payment).
- Acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once processing begins, as the service is fully performed.
5.2 Refund Policy
Because our service delivers results instantly and files are deleted after download, refunds are generally not available once processing is complete.
However, we will issue a full refund if:
- A technical error prevented your images from being processed.
- You were charged but the download link did not work and we cannot regenerate it.
- You were charged multiple times for the same batch (duplicate payment).
To request a refund, contact contact@imgsqueeze.com within 7 days of your purchase, including your payment confirmation or Stripe receipt.
6. Your Responsibilities
- You must have the legal right to upload the images you submit (you own them, or have a license to modify them).
- You must not upload illegal content, malware disguised as images, or content that violates third-party rights.
- You must not attempt to abuse, overload, or exploit the service (e.g., automated bulk requests beyond normal usage).
- You must not attempt to circumvent the daily free-tier limit by manipulating browser data, using automated tools, or other means. Such usage may result in temporary or permanent blocking of access.
7. Intellectual Property
- Your images: You retain all rights to your uploaded images. We claim no ownership or license to your content.
- Our service: The ImgSqueeze website, brand, code, and design are owned by Kadár Mózes PFA. You may not copy, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the service.
8. File Storage & Deletion
- Uploaded and processed files are stored temporarily on our servers.
- Files are deleted immediately after download or within 2 hours of upload — whichever comes first.
- We do not keep backups of your images. Once deleted, files cannot be recovered.
- Download your files promptly. We are not responsible for files that expire before download.
9. Service Availability & Warranty
- ImgSqueeze is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- We do not guarantee that the service will be available 24/7 or error-free.
- We do not guarantee a specific compression ratio or output quality — results depend on the source images and chosen settings.
- We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or updates.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including Romanian and EU consumer protection law):
- Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transaction.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to: loss of data, loss of business, or loss of profits.
- We are not liable for any damage caused by your failure to download files before the retention period expires.
11. Prohibited Uses
You may not use this service to:
- Process or distribute illegal content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
- Conduct automated scraping, bulk abuse, or denial-of-service attacks.
- Resell the service without permission.
We reserve the right to block access for abusive usage without notice or refund.
12. Governing Law & Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania.
- For EU consumers: you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights under the law of your country of residence, where those rights provide a higher level of protection.
- EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
- Any disputes not resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of Romania.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with the new "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
